Official Posters around town, and invites through schools will follow, but for now make sure these dates are in your diary. They're unmissable!
Let’s Get Messy
Let's get Messy March 3rd 2pm
Each month is different so you wont want to miss out, with sensory and craft activities and more for all ages.
Please note that there isn't a Lets Get Messy session on in February but please join us in February half term for our Flippin' Marvellous Pancake Party. (See poster above for more details).
Roots Baby and Toddler Group
Meets every Wednesday in term time, 1-2:30pm at Midsomer Norton Methodist Church
Every session differs with a variety of activities running alongside free play each week such as crafts, sensory play and cooking. The group then shares snack time before a rhyme and story time. We have a lovely big hall so children can enjoy ride on's and run around all they like, while there is a cosy book area and baby space for the little ones.
It's £1 a week for Children over one years but the first week is free, so why not give it a try.
On the 23rd of March Roots Toddler Group took part in The Giant Wiggle 2016 raising money for Action for Children. It was all about The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We had a great time wiggling round the school field with our butterfly masks and caterpillar crowns on and waving our leaf flags. Afterwards we stayed out in the sunshine and had an Easter egg hunt. Thank you to all who sponsored us.
Parent and Carers Coffee Mornings
You are warmly invited to join our group for coffee and cake and a chat every other Tuesday. We will also be watching a short film clip from Care for the Family's ParentTalk at discussion the clip and our own experiences raising children. Including tales that are funny now we can look back on them. There's no judgement, no requirements, no pass or fail or certificate at the end. Just love, humour, support and fellowship. Rob Parsons from Care for the Family shares those now funny tales from his own family life that we can all relate to as well as his reflections and thoughts.
We will be gathering Tuesdays (with proper coffee and cakes):
January the 23rd
February the 6th
