From our Minister: the Revd. Stephen Robinson.
Midsomer Norton is a country town about 10 miles south of Bath and situated on the edge of the beautiful Mendip Hills.
You will find the Methodist Church ideally situated in the middle of the town on the High Street. The building is in use seven days a week and any morning you will find someone there offering a warm welcome.
As followers of Jesus we want to express the Christian life in many ways. Worship is important and we aim to provide a wide variety of types of worship. On Saturdays once a month (usually the 2nd Saturday) we offer 'Saturday Night Praise. On Sundays we alternate between ‘traditional’ worship and our less 'formal' @tenThirty Worship.
Alongside this we run house fellowships (Encounter Groups), prayer meetings, Bible Study, Toddlers, a lunch club, a cricket club and lots more .
Being located at the centre of the High Street, we seek to be a church community where anyone can come and find a welcome and where a variety of needs can be met.
You don’t have to be a Christian to come to our activities but as part of the welcome we hope to share the love of Jesus with you in a sensitive and personal way.
Being at the centre of the town, we are also involved in the community in a number of initiatives that seek to make Midsomer Norton a better place.
As Minister of the church I am in the church building most mornings so if I can be of help through a conversation, please do contact me.
So why not come along and not only meet with those who already belong to the church but also meet with Jesus who we believe is the best person we can ever meet with!
