Saturday 12th July was Mardi Gras day in Midsomer Norton. As we are situated in the High Street where all the day’s events take place, we opened our doors as usual for refreshments to those passing.
This year, in addition, we had two Prayer Tents:
One inside the church for folk to
take an hour’s slot for prayer and quiet reflection from 9am to 9pm;
and
One outside so any passer-by could come in and pray, just sit, or talk to one
of several members who were there from midday to 5pm.
